Fitness Bootcamp Questions
Do I need to bring anything to the Fitness Boot Camp?
Bring plenty of water, a towel to do ab work on, workout gloves which can be purchased at any gym, sporting good store or bicycle shop.
Can I bring my belongings to the boot camp?
We are exercising outdoors so I wouldn't bring anything too valuable. You can put your belongings in a pack back and I am near everyones belongings.
What should I wear to Fitness Boot Camp?
Wear comfortable workout clothes.
Are there any restrooms or changing facilities?
There are restrooms but no changing facility. Come to boot camp dressed and ready to workout.
What is the workout like?
It is a combination of strength training and cardio training. Innovative body weight exercises and band exercises along with many different types of cardio drills are used to keep your heart rate up and burn lots of calories. This workout will get you in great shape and help you lose weight fast.
What results can I expect?
Weight loss, toning, increased flexibility and more energy.
I'm really out of shape, I'm not sure if I can keep up with the class.
The boot camp is as tough as you make it. The entire workout can be modified to be more or less challenging.
I'm in really great shape. Will the Boot camp be tough enough for me?
Absolutely. Every exercise and aspect of the boot camp can be modified to be more or less challenging. You will be challenged.
What if I have a medical problem.
You will receive a health questionnaire via email prior to your showing up for fitness boot camp boot camp. If I need to I will contact you and discuss your medical status.
What is the typical age of a boot camper.
There is no typical age. Just people who want to get more fit.

Fitness Boxing Lessons ( In Home )
What is fitness boxing?
Basically a personal trainer will teach you how to throw combinations of punches, foot work and evasive manuveurs. You will be hitting what are called target mitts, not me thank God.
I never took boxing lessons and in addition I am really out of shape. Will I be able to do it?
Absolutely. I haven't had one client that wasn't able to throw a few punches, and they loved it. There is something very theraputic about hitting an object. In addition you are progressed according to your fitness level. It's a great way to get in shape really fast and burn tons of calories. I highly recommend fitness boxing because it gets you fit quickly and is fun.
How long are the sessions?
These sessions are 1 hour although most people combine fitness boxing with some personal training.
Do I need to buy any equipment for boxing lessons?
No you don't. I have boxing gloves for men and women so you don't need your own. Of course if you want to you can always buy your own boxing gloves and I could reccommend a couple of places.
I wonder if I'm too old for fitness boxing?
There is no such thing as being to old for fitness boxing lessons. I've trained women in their sixties and they loved it.

Personal Training Questions ( In Home )
Do I need equipment for in home personal training?
No you don't. I bring light weight, portable equipment. Don't worry, I don't turn your home into a gym.
What if I would like to have some equipment in my home, would you make any recommendations?
I would be happy to help you with this. There are many types of inexpensive, light weight exercise equipment that are perfect for in home personal training.
I don't have much room for personal training in my home, is that a problem?
None whatsoever. I train one client in her hallway.
